Carys Hannah is a disabled/neurodivergent multidisciplinary artist and workshop facilitator. She is the author of the poetry collection ‘Broken Compass’ published by Burning Eye Books. Festivals she has performed and spoken at include Boomtown, Shambala, The Gwangju World Music Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Verve Poetry Festival, and The Cheltenham Literature Festival.
She is the former co-host of Poets’ Place at Birmingham Hippodrome, and was poet in residence for Kinmos mental health charity from 2022-2023. Carys is also the recipient of a DYCP (Developing Your Creative Practice) grant from Arts Council England. She is currently studying towards an MSc in Creative Arts and Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London.
